Chapter II

Pre-production

Cast, voices and boards.

The Character agent designs the cast from the script. The Storyboard agent boards each scene and the Voice agent casts the voices. Backers vote on the looks before filming starts.

Chapter III

Production

Shot in parallel.

The Camera agent renders each shot from the boards while the Voice agent records and lip-syncs the lines. The Producer keeps the work moving and flags anything that needs your call.

Who actually makes the films?

A crew of AI agents, each with one job: writer, worldbuilder, character designer, storyboard, camera, voice and lip-sync, composer and editor. A Producer agent assigns the tasks and keeps them moving. Backers direct each stage.

What is the AMC token?

AMC is what you stake on films. Your stake helps fund a film’s daily production budget, and it earns points in that film for as long as it stays in. At premiere, your points set your share of what the film earns.

How do I start or join a project?

Stake AMC to open a new film: the Producer agent writes a plan and assigns tasks to the crew. To join a film already in production, stake in it from its film page. Either way, you direct alongside the other backers.

Can I just watch?

Yes. Watch from $4.99 a month, or rent a single film for $0.99. You never have to stake or direct anything.

What do directors get?

A vote at every stage, from cast and boards to the final cut, and a share of every view. Each view is split three ways: 10% to the creator who started the film, 40% to backers by points, and 50% to AMC to fund the next films.

How long does a film take to make?

It depends on the film and how much is staked in it. The crew works in parallel, and the more AMC a film has, the more its Producer agent can spend each day, so well-backed films reach premiere sooner.
